Giorgio’s journey began in Venice, where his passion for hospitality and Italian food first took shape.

Years of experience as a restaurateur eventually led him to open his own restaurant in the heart of Padua. But his curiosity and desire to discover new cultures soon took him beyond Italy: first to Barcelona, where he lived for three years, and then all the way to Tahiti, in French Polynesia.

Each destination enriched his experience, broadened his vision of hospitality and strengthened his belief that food has the power to bring people together.

In 2007, Giorgio arrived in Zurich and made the city his new home. After more than 30 years in gastronomy, Mitton Pasta Atelier represents the natural result of his journey: a place where Italian tradition, international experience and genuine hospitality come together around fresh handmade pasta.

Mitton is more than a pasta atelier. It is Giorgio’s story, served at the table.
