Giorgio, a native of Venice - the cradle of aperitivo culture and the iconic Spritz, grew up immersed in the hospitality sector. His early years were spent mastering the art of hosting, ensuring each guest's experience was nothing short of delightful. Upon moving to Zurich, he found himself longing for the lively, convivial spirit of his hometown. This nostalgia spurred him to establish Mitton, aiming to bring a slice of Venetian joy to his new Swiss community.

At Mitton, our enthusiasm for natural and spontaneous fermentation extends to our selection of wines. We proudly serve these in the traditional Venetian style, known as "ombra de vin," where a glass of wine, much like a shadow or "ombra," moves with the sun, symbolising the transient, yet deeply enriching moments shared over drinks.
